I personally enjoy doing tours, so that I can fully understand the history of the city I am visiting.

I book tours through Viator https://www.viator.com/ , just because I trust them. I don't want to say that you'll save money booking through them, but your trip will be more organized and it'll end up just being less chaotic. But Viator has all sorts of tours. Whatever you desire they most-likely have it.
